Can My Tire Be Repaired?

We pull the tire and check it inside and out before we say yes. The general industry rule:

• Hole in the tread, 1/4 inch or smaller — usually repairable
• Sidewall or shoulder damage — not repairable, the tire has to be replaced
• Driven on flat — if the inside is chewed up, it isn't safe to fix
• Old repairs too close together — not safe to stack another one

If It Can't Be Fixed

You don't have to buy a full set. We keep a big rack of inspected used tires and can usually match your size and tread, so one tire gets you rolling again. Want new? We carry and order every major brand.

Slow Leak Or Light Still On?

A tire that drops a few PSI every week usually has a small nail, a leaking valve stem, or air getting out where the tire seals to the wheel. We find where the air is coming out. If the tire pressure light stays on after the repair, we check the sensors — see TPMS & balancing.
